Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz: 9 to 10 am
Singer Janis Siegel is featured on Piano Jazz this week. Throughout the 30 years she spent with the jazz super group The Manhattan Transfer, she also released her own recordings featuring hip, seductive arrangements of standards, as well as newer works. Along with pianist and accordion player Gil Goldstein, Siegel performs "Whatever Possessed Me" and "A Thousand Beautiful Things."
