Online Listening Tips
MP3 DirectionsTo listen to the the MP3 audio stream, you may use one of your existing media players: iTunes, Windows Media Player, Real Player, QuickTime (iTunes), or WinAmp.
AACPlus DirectionsTo listen to the aacPlus audio stream, you will need to use either the WinAmp media player [http://www.winamp.com/], or Windows Media Player with the Orban plug-in [http://www.orban.com/plugin/]. If you're using a Mac we recommend the VLC Player [http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html] which supports the aacPlus format.
Setting your default playerTo set your preferred player as the default player for MP3 (and M3U files) you will have to set the MP3/M3U file type as a preference/option. Setting your preferences is not necessary for listening to WRTI online, but may make your return visit to listen to us go more smoothly. Information on setting your default player is at the bottom of this page.
If you are having difficulties playing the audio, first check to make sure you are running the most recent version of the media player. This information is also included below. For additional support, contact Ed Brown II, Technology Manager (ed@wrti.org) 215-204-7781.
