JUBILATE! A Concert of Sacred Music and Oratorio Masterpieces
Join us on Sunday, December 9th at 3 pm as the Academy of Vocal Arts presents its annual concert of sacred vocal music featuring time-honored favorites from the repertoire. One of the most eagerly awaited concerts of the season, JUBILATE! showcases AVA's talented Resident Artists. Together, they'll perform works by Saint-Saëns, Bach, Handel, Rossini, Mendelssohn, and more! David Antony Lofton conducts the AVA Opera Orchestra and Resident Artists.
Singers include mezzo-soprano Chrystal E. Williams, bass-baritone Musa Ngqungwana, and tenor Dominick Chenes. They perform with the AVA Opera Orchestra in a concert that will be recorded on December 2nd at The Church of the Holy Trinity in Rittenhouse Square. Master Vocal Coach and Conductor David Antony Lofton is on the podium.
