Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg and Clarice Assad

This week we speak with violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg and composer Clarice Assad. Salerno-Sonnenberg is the soloist for performances of Assad's violin concerto by the Philadelphia Orchestra; We look ahead to the 215 Festival: Philadelphia's unique celebration of writers and words; Jason Peifer previews a Palestinian/Jewish Israeli Theater Initiative that will be touring the region. Their show, "Six Actors in Search of a Plot" explores peace building efforts between Israel's Arab and Jewish populations; Susan Lewis explores Villa America: American Moderns 1900 - 1950, the latest exhibition at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
