Join WRTI for the premiere broadcast of The Diamond Sessions featuring jazz vocalist Joanna Pascale, Sunday, February 24th at 8 pm. Hailed for her ability to story tell through music, she has an easy style that is laced with the sophistication that comes from having done your homework and deeply engaging the lyrics of a song.
Joanna will be joined by a stellar lineup of musicians for this session including Joshua Richman on piano, Dan Monaghan on drums, and Steve Varner on bass. As a bonus, we'll be treated to a special guest appearance by Philadelphia's own Larry McKenna on tenor saxophone.
