Jill Pasternak interviews harpist Yolanda Kondonassis and composer George Fenton, who are as passionate about the environment as they are about their music.

Grammy-nominated harpist Yolanda Kondonassis has authored Our House Is Round, a book that teaches children about the importance of protecting the Earth. She's also donating a portion of the proceeds from her album Air to the Environmental Defense Fund.

Jill's guest this week is flutist Robert Stallman. His new CD, The Nightingale in Love, features works for solo flute and ensemble from the late French Baroque era, and was recently released on the Bogner's Cafe label.

Mr. Stallman's unique sound has repeatedly captured the attention of music lovers, ever since his mentor, Jean-Pierre Rampal, judged him early on to be "one of the most gifted musicians I have ever encountered."

Formed in 2001 by producer and composer/songwriter Max Masri and composer/arranger and instrumentalist Diego S. Velazquez, the band's lineup includes bandoneon, violoncello, acoustic piano, acoustic and electric guitar, electronic and acoustic drums, samplers, and synthesizers.

Grammy award-winning classical guitarist David Russell is Jill's guest this week on Crossover. Born in Scotland, Russell grew up in Minorca, Spain where his love of classical guitar bloomed. Since then, he's recorded 25 albums and has won kudos throughout the world for his inspired artistry. His latest CD is Sonidos Latinos, and features guitar music from Latin America.
