A Kimmel Center Double Header on ENCORE!

It's a two-hour "Kimmel Center Presents" program on Sunday, November 18, 3 to 5 pm. In part one, you'll hear a tribute concert featuring legendary organist John Weaver, on the Fred J. Cooper Memorial Organ in Verizon Hall. The concert took place this past Spring, and was sponsored by the American Guild of Organists.  It features the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Sergei Prokofiev, Cesar Frank, and John Weaver himself.

Back By Popular Demand! Pianist Jeffrey Siegel

The enlightening and well-received performance series Keyboard Conversations with Jeffrey Siegel has been brought back by popular demand! The series, which had been canceled by the Kimmel Center, was resurrected by a group of devotees, the Friends of Keyboard Conversations, who raised funds to continue the performances. This illustrates, more than ever, how the commitment of music lovers to support performances that are accessible on so many levels CAN make a difference.
