Jill explores the kingdom under the sea with Executive Director of Adventure Aquarium on the Camden waterfront, Greg Charbineau. He has often said that he would like to put music to the movements of the many aquatic animals housed there, and that's what we've done on this week's Crossover!

We revisit four recent features from the CultureFiles section at GoPhila.com. We look back at the history of Philadelphia's Curtis Institute of Music. We'll take a walk through Doylestown's James A. Michener Art Museum, while Susan Lewis visits the Rosenbach Museum & Library and the Fairmount Water Works.

Cellist Zuill Bailey visits Jill this week. A notable artist, he has just completed recording the entire collection of Beethoven sonatas with pianist Simone Dinnerstein, under the auspices of the classical recording foundation, from which he won the Samuel Sanders Award. He is a sought-after and active soloist and chamber player, balancing a heavy touring schedule in concerts, and on radio and TV. He'll be appearing at Carnegie Hall this fall, with Ms. Dinnerstein.

This week, Jill chats with The 5 Browns, a quintet of unabashedly happy siblings, all concert pianists, and all graduates of the Juilliard School of Music. Their refreshing demeanor and joy in performing together the music that they love, has swept the nation and introduced scores of young people to the wonders of classical music.

ill Pasternak hosts pianist Christopher O'Riley in this week's Crossover. O'Riley, affable host of From the Top (which will follow today's Crossover program), is also a very busy performer with a wide range of repertoire that includes his improvisations on music of Radiohead, and contemporary keyboard music.
