New York Philharmonic in Colorado: August 19th, 3 pm on Encore!

Pianist Benjamin Grosvenor

Join us as the New York Philharmonic takes us away to Vail, Colorado for a performance from the Philharmonic's summer home - the Vail Valley Music Festival.  Andrey Boreyko is on the podium, with pianist Benjamin Grosvenor for a program that includes the Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto No. 2, and the heroic Symphony No. 1 of Johannes Brahms. Sunday, August 19th, 3 to 5 pm.

The NY Philharmonic Presents A Tchaikovsky Festival: August 5th on ENCORE!

Pianist Simon Trpceski

Bramwell Tovey conducts the New York Philharmonic in an all-Tchaikovsky program - perfect summertime listening!  They're joined by pianist Simon Trpčeski in a performance of the infrequently heard Piano Concerto No. 2.  Selections from Act IV of Swan Lake, and the ever-popular 1812 Overture round out the program. Sunday, August 5th, 3 to 5 pm.

Mozart, Emanuel Ax, the NY Philharmonic: July 22 at 3 pm on ENCORE!

Join us on Sunday, July 22, 3 to 5 pm as Music Director Alan Gilbert, pianist Emanuel Ax, and the New York Choral Artists present the final program of the New York Philharmonic's season in Avery Fisher Hall.  The concert, recorded last month, is an all-Mozart program featuring the Piano Concerto No. 22, and the Great Mass in c minor.

NY Philharmonic's All-American Celebration: July 15 at 3 pm on Encore!

Bramwell Tovey conducts the New York Philharmonic in a Star-Spangled Spectacular this Sunday form 3 to 5 pm.

Joined by the U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, under Major Brian Dix, you'll hear a salute to Broadway, with music from Kiss Me, Kate, South Pacific, and My Fair Lady, Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, and works by Sousa, of course!
