Event Description

The American Organ Guild (Southeastern PA Chapter) and the Munier Mandolin & Guitar Orchestra joined together to present a Vivaldi Mandolin & Organ Festival, Dec. 6. At St. Colman’s Church in Ardmore, PA. (Strict social distancing and masking practices were in place per the Montgomery Board of Health guidelines.)

Featured artists included Alexey Alexadrov (domra), Ekaterina Skliar (mandolin), Aaron Patterson (organ), and Dylan David Shaw (organ). Featured works included two of Vivaldi’s concertos for mandolin and string orchestra. The Concerto for Mandolin in C and the Concerto for two Mandolins in G are performed in this setting with organ rather than string orchestra accompaniment.
