Join us on Saturday at the Kimmel Center's inaugural "Open House" event - a kick-off to the 2015/2016 season of performances by the Kimmel's resident companies and Broadway shows, with a no-fee-at-the-box office policy for more than 100 shows - from 10 am to 3 pm - when you purchase tickets.
WRTI classical host Gregg Whiteside will be on the scene, broadcasting live, speaking with leaders of some of the resident companies about upcoming season highlights, and bringing you musical selections that you’ll hear at this season’s performances.
The Kimmel Center Open House is a free event, open to the public that will feature performances from the cast of Matilda The Musical, Kimmel Center resident companies, jazz ensembles, and local choirs. In addition to festival-style performances, there will also be food, children’s activities, behind-the-scenes access and demonstrations, and a few surprises!
