Handel's Messiah and The Philadelphia Orchestra on WRTI: Dec. 21 at 1 PM

If you can't be at Verizon Hall for this Sunday's performance of Messiah, you can listen to last December's LIVE broadcast right here on WRTI -  on your radio or online!

The Philadelphia Orchestra, the Philadelphia Singers Chorale, the Russian-American soprano Yulia Van Doren,  American mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke, American tenor Nicholas Phan, and British-Canadian baritone Alexander Dobson, all under the direction of Cristian Macelaru brought this masterpiece to life in stunning fashion last season, and we can't wait to bring it to you once again!

David Hayes was appointed music director of the Philadelphia Singers in 1992;  he’ll speak with WRTI’s Susan during today’s intermission.

That's this Sunday, December 21 at 1 pm on WRTI. If you can't be at Verizon Hall, don't miss this memorable WRTI re-broadcast.
