WRTI's Musical Tribute to the Late, Great Ruth Bader Ginsburg

WRTI honors the memory of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg with special programming on Saturday, September 26th during Classical Coffeehouse with Debra Lew Harder, and Overture with Mark Pinto. Stay tuned to hear our weekly opera broadcast, which just happens to be what was one of Justice Ginsburg's favorite operas, Mozart's Don Giovanni.

Later this week, as Justice Ginsburg is laid to rest, we'll have music in memoriam.

And looking ahead, mark your calendars for our November 7th broadcast of Derrick Wang's comic opera Scalia/Ginsberga much-acclaimed work about the surprising friendship between these two justices with ideological differences and a shared love of opera.

Our friend Peter Dobrin at The Philadelphia Inquirer wrote this insightful articleabout RBG's musical ties to Philadelphia.
