A Midsummer Night's Dream

Fans of HBO's Game of Thrones know him as sword master Syrio Forel, who trains the young Arya Stark in the deadly art. Actor Miltos Yerolemou is also famous in the opera world for his role as Puck, the mischievous acrobatic fairy in Robert Carsen's staging of Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream, now making its U.S. debut with Opera Philadelphia, Feb. 8th to 17th.

It's now officially summer, which means it's time to kick back, pour out a glass of rosé and listen to the ever-timeless Overture to A Midsummer Night's Dream, by composer Felix Mendelssohn. The German composer wrote the Overture (Op. 21) when he was only 17, but by then he was a seasoned composer with numerous operas and string symphonies under his belt.
