You're in the judge's seat today! Choose your favorite operatic singer from the Academy of Vocal Arts' popular Giargiari Bel Canto operatic competition. Jim Cotter hosts the broadcast and interviews last year's winner, soprano Corinne Winters. The top three winners of the online poll will be announced on the air following the broadcast.

The live competition took place on Oct. 4th, but you can still hear the performances, and select the WRTI listener favorite today between 3 and 5 pm.

Voting is easy. CLICK HERE during the broadcast and fill out a simple form that lists the names of contestants. Results from the WRTI online poll, and another poll taken on the night of the competition, will be read on the air and posted on our website.

An expert panel of judges from the opera and performing-arts world chose the winners at the AVA Giargiari Bel Canto Competition at the Tuesday night event, including Symphony in C Music Director Rossen Milanov, Metropolitan Opera mezzo-soprano Florence Quivar, and Scott Barnes - Opera News contributor and career development consultant. AVA Music Director Danielle Orlando accompanied the vocalists.
