Delaware Valley Wind Symphony Presents: 'Music of the Imagination!'
On Sunday, March 5, the Delaware Valley Wind Symphony invites you to be a part of their next concert, and to share in some very special moments. Close your eyes and let your imagination loose with the inspiring sounds of Symphony no. 1, ‘Lord of the Rings,’ by Johan de Meij, which creates a stunning musical setting for J. R. R. Tolkien’s epic novel. Continue your journey into the land of the imagination and explore the beginnings of music itself, as musicians perform the world premiere of Music of the Ainur, by Bucks County composer, Stephen Troy. Audience members will also have the rare opportunity to get up close and personal with tuba soloist, Bill Connors as he performs the exciting, and amazingly beautiful Tuba Concerto by renown Hollywood composer, Bill Broughton. And be prepared to leave the concert with your feet tapping to some lively and festive Gaelic music!
Adult tickets are $15, while children and students are free.
