Liebovar or The Little Blind Girl, is an original story by Philadelphia-area composer Misha Dutka.
In the story, all the children mysteriously disappear, except one, a little blind girl. It is up to her and a few magical friends to find them! Together they will sing, dance, and battle the evil ogre who rules the Darkling Wood. (Note: some scenes may be too scary for very young children).
The performance features choreography by Anne Margaret O'Malley, artistic director for Flamenco Y Mas. A select group of O'Malley's students will open the program with Flamenco Family Fun, a delightful presentation celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.
