Tempesta di Mare's Chamber Players present: Expats & Immigrants
When composers move to other countries, do they become immigrants and assimilate by taking on the musical language of their new home? Or do they retain their native traditions as expats, capitalizing on their styles’ popularity or acting as musical missionaries in their new home? This program spans that spectrum across Western Europe, China and the New World.
