"Tribute to Mario Lanza"; part of the Mario Lanza Concert Series
The Mario Lanza Concert Series at St. Paul Catholic Church showcases local Philadelphia music talent and aims to make the arts accessible to our surrounding community.
The first concert in this series, "Tribute to Mario Lanza," will feature Justin Gonzalez, tenor and Brooklyn Evangelista, pianist.
Song selections include music from Lanza's MGM movies, various sacred pieces, and classic tenor arias like Nessun Dorma. The concert will begin with a brief presentation on Lanza's life and work from William Ronayne, president of Mario Lanza Institute and Museum.
Free parking is available across the street.
