Jill Pasternak welcomes esteemed conductor Sir Neville Marriner. In 1959 he founded the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, which rose to prominence as one of the world's great chamber orchestras. He has conducted almost every major orchestra across the globe, and has recorded for more than a dozen labels. In 1979 he was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire, and in 1985 he received a Knighthood.
