Flory Jagoda

Passover begins on Friday night at sundown, and Jews around the world will be celebrating the exodus of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt with a special family meal, called a Seder. Join us on WRTI to hear music for Passover and learn more about the holiday.

Born in Sarajevo, Flory Jagoda celebrated the music and language of her ancestors who had been expelled from Spain in 1492. She died Jan. 29 at age 97.
