Sandy Stewart and Bil Charlap on WRTI's Voices In Jazz

Philadelphia-born singer Sandy Stewart and her son, renowned pianist Bill Charlap, will share some musical moments with Bob Craig on Sunday, October 20 at 5 pm on WRTI HD-2 and the all-jazz stream at wrti.org

Sandy will sing and Bill will tickle the ivories, performing songs from their new CD, Something To Remember. The new album from mother-son duo of world-class jazz pianist, BILL CHARLAP and Grammy Award-nominated vocalist SANDY STEWART features a collection of ballads from some of the most popular songwriters of the twentieth century, such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Richard Rodgers and Irving Berlin. Voices in Jazz with Bob Craig, Sundays from 3 to 6 pm on WRTI HD-2.


Bob joined WRTI's on-air staff in 2005. His well-rounded radio career began in 1963 as a studio engineer at WBZ in Boston. Throughout the '70s, he was an announcer and programmer at Hartford's WDRC and Boston's WHDH.
