The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra on WRTI: The Planets, Sept. 21, 3 PM

Join us to hear the final concert of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra's 2013-14 season. Music Director Louis Scaglione conducts an all-English program that includes works by Britten, Elgar, and Holst.

Mezzo-soprano Chrystal E. Williams joins the orchestra for a performance of Elgar's Sea Pictures. The challenging program also includes Gustav Holst's magical suite for orchestra, The Planets, played by the very-talented young people of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra.

Hear it on Sunday, September 21st, 3 to 5 pm on WRTI.
