The Schubert Trio is one of the cornerstones of the chamber music repertoire, written the year before the composer’s death. Listen on WRTI 90.1, online at WRTI.org, or on the WRTI Mobile App.
The Curtis Schubertiade is a series of free public recitals on Feb 11, 16, and 17 to perform the great salon masterworks of Austrian composer Franz Schubert (1797–1828). These programs celebrate a profound and prolific genius who forever altered the course of Western classical music despite his tragically short life.
