Watch and Listen: Immanuel Wilkins Quartet Live from the WRTI Performance Studio

Saxophonist, composer, arranger and bandleader Immanuel Wilkins hails from South Philly, and—despite his youth—he’s already toured the world. His musical journey began at church and at the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts, and has brought him to Japan and The United Arab Emirates, and countries in Europe and South America.

"Saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins is a young Juilliard student making deep and meaningful strides in New York’s jazz community.”—Noah Fishman, JazzSpeaks

Watch the recording session at WRTI on Facebook! It was hosted by WRTI's J. Michael Harrison.

When you see and hear Immanuel Wilkins perform, you’ll see that he’s come a long way since being the gifted kid that played the National Anthem for the Philadelphia 76ers and world-champion Eagles.

He’s poised to enter his senior year at Julliard! Join us to experience a talented artist who has graced stages with some of the biggest giants in jazz.
