Ukrainian-American pianist Anna Dmytrenko performed live in the WRTI 90.1 performance studio on October 17th. Kevin Gordon was host.
Anna played Rachmaninoff’s Prelude Opus 23 No.7 in C minor, Nikolai Medtner’s Canzona Matinata Opus 39 No.4, and Rodion Shchedrin’s Basso Ostinato.

Anna Dmytrenko has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Auditorium Gaber, Paris Philharmonie, Salle Cortot and the Kimmel Center. Anna wa a student at Juilliard's Pre-College program and the Royal Academy of Music in London. She's currently at the University of the Arts in Berlin, Germany studying with Pascal Devoyon.
Anna has won top prizes in several international piano competitions including the Cantu International Piano Competition, the Olga Kern International Piano Competition, and the Manhattan International Music Competition and has played with the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, the New Mexico Philharmonic, KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Orquestra Simfonica del Valles.
