We’re honoring the impact of LGBTQA composers and musicians on the classical music world in a special edition of Saturday Classical Coffeehouse on June 26th. WRTI Classical Host Michael Bolton will join Debra Lew Harder as guest barista starting at 8:30 AM, and together they’ll share some of their favorite works by LGBTQA composers and artists in celebration of Pride Month.You’ll hear music by Samuel Barber, Leonard Bernstein, Jennifer Higdon, Caroline Shaw, Francis Poulenc, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and more, in performances by acclaimed out artists including Marin Alsop, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Michael Tilson Thomas, Sara Davis Buechner, Anthony Roth Costanza, and Earl Wild.
