Greg Bryant is the new host for Evening Jazz on WRTI.

We're proud to announce that Greg Bryant is WRTI's new host for Evening Jazz, Monday through Thursday nights from 6 to 9 PM. A seasoned broadcaster, writer, host, and musician, Greg comes to us from WBGO-FM and SiriusXM.

His passion for jazz broadcasting started as a volunteer at Fisk University’s WFSK-FM in his hometown of Nashville. He hosted shifts on Middle Tennessee State University's WMOT-FM and Northwestern University's WNUR-FM while earning undergraduate and graduate degrees.

As a working electric bassist, Greg performed locally in Nashville and toured abroad before moving to New York in 2020. Prior to his arrival at WRTI, he served as host of Jazz After Hours at WBGO-FM, where he co-hosted Jazz United, named "Podcast of the Year" from the Jazz Journalists Association for 2021 and 2022.

Greg is an avid LP collector, continues to play bass, and enjoys seeing as much live music as possible. As a long-time admirer of the Philadelphia music scene, he's excited to share his love of jazz with WRTI listeners.

Listen to Greg's show on WRTI 90.1 and also streaming on the WRTI App, at WRTI.org, and on your favorite smart speaker. Listen for up to two weeks after broadcast on WRTI Replay.
