Happy turkey season! This Thanksgiving, the WRTI jazz team will present our first annual Thanksgiving Holiday Platters Weekend. From 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26 through 6 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, we’ll feature a different classic jazz album every hour. From legendary records like John Coltrane's 1960 release Giant Steps and Sarah Vaughan's 1955 self-titled album, to more recent touchstones like Kamasi Washington's The Epic and esperanza spalding's Chamber Music Society, our Holiday Platters Weekend is sure to have something for jazz fans of all eras and styles.

To help us fill out our list, we're asking you to submit your album suggestions! Fill-out the listener request form below before Wednesday, Nov. 19, and tune in all Thanksgiving weekend to see if your album makes the cut. Celebrate family, friends and this amazing listening community with the Thanksgiving Holiday Platters Weekend on WRTI!
