Contest Terms & Rules

After reading and agreeing to the “Contest Rules”, complete the associated contest form (Moment’s Notice e-newsletter subscription) between Sunday, July 21, 2024 and August 4, 2024 (by 11:59 PM) and you will automatically be entered into the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival VIP Ticket and Train Package drawing. There will be one (1) winner, and the winner will receive two (2) VIP passes to the Pittsburgh Jazz festival and tickets on the Jazz Train.

The VIP passes grant priority seating and indoor access to the August Wilson African American Cultural Center throughout the duration of the festival.The majority of the festival is free and outdoors. There are a few ticketed events that would not be included with this prize and they are: Maysa (September 20, 2024), Taste of Jazz (September 20, 2024), and Chris Coles (September 21, 2024).

On September 19, The Jazz Train™ picks up fans at Amtrak stations in New York at 10:52 am, Newark at 11:09 am and Philadelphia at 12:42 pm, arriving in Pittsburgh by 8:00 pm in time to see the opening night concert at the AWAACC at 9:00 pm. The Jazz Train™ departs Pittsburgh on Monday morning, September 23. Note that this prize does not include hotel accommodations and the winner must secure accommodations.

This is a limited time offer from WRTI.

No substitution of a cash value prize will be permitted.

If the winner declines the prize, no other prize will be offered.

1. How to Enter

Submit an entry via our website by subscribing to Moment’s notice at WRTI.org/momentsnotice between July 21, 2024 and August 4, 2024 (by 11:59 PM). Current Moment’s Notice subscribers will automatically be entered to win.

2. Eligibility Restrictions

Employees of WRTI, sweepstakes sponsors, and their respective families are ineligible. Limit one prize per household and one entry per person.

3. Selection of Winner

Winner will be selected at random by a WRTI employee from all valid entries promptly following the close of the entry period. The winner's name will be posted on WRTI's website in August. The winner need not be present or listening in order to win. WRTI will contact the selected winner using the contact information provided in such person's entry. If the winner does not claim the prize within 3 days following notification, or if the winner is for any reason ineligible, a new winner will be drawn and contacted.

4. Conditions

Payment of all federal, state and local taxes with respect to any prize is the responsibility of the winner. By submitting an entry to the sweepstakes, the winner agrees to have his or her name, voice or likeness used in advertising or broadcasting material relating to these sweepstakes without compensation. The winner agrees to execute a prize receipt and certify eligibility prior to release of the prize. WRTI, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or who otherwise violates these rules. WRTI reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the sweepstakes, including the substitution of prizes of equivalent or greater value, which changes will become effective upon announcement.

5. Copies of Rules

Copies of the written sweepstakes rules will be available up to 30 days after the end of the sweepstakes at our website. You may also receive the rules by mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to WRTI, 1509 Cecil B. Moore Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19121.
