COLTRANE 100 - SELECTIONS FROM 1951-1967

How to Enter: Make a contribution to WRTI online here on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 12:00 AM to Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 2:20 AM and we have a special opportunity for one listener. You will automatically be entered into the Coltrane 100 - Selections From 1951-1967 contest. There will be (1) one winner, who will receive: One limited edition 6-disc box set on 180-gram black vinyl, the first comprehensive, cross-label career overview, it spans 16 years from early 1951 sideman recordings—featuring collaborations with Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, and Duke Ellington—to his defining work as a bandleader up to 1967.

1. Eligibility Restrictions Employees of WRTI, sweepstakes sponsors, and their respective families are ineligible. Limit one prize per household and one entry per person.
2. Selection of Winner Winner will be selected at random by a WRTI employee from all valid entries promptly following the close of the entry period. The winner’s name will be posted on WRTI’s website by September 25, 2026 for two weeks. The winner need not be present or listening in order to win. WRTI will contact the selected winner using the contact information provided in such person’s entry. If the winner does not claim the prize within 7 days following notification, or if the winner is for any reason ineligible, a new winner will be drawn and contacted.
3. Conditions Payment of all federal, state and local taxes with respect to any prize is the responsibility of the winner. By submitting an entry to the sweepstakes, the winner agrees to have his or her name, voice or likeness used in advertising or broadcasting material relating to these sweepstakes without compensation. The winner agrees to execute a prize receipt and certify eligibility prior to release of the prize. WRTI, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or who otherwise violates these rules. WRTI reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the sweepstakes, including the substitution of prizes of equivalent or greater value, which changes will become effective upon announcement.

OKONSKI LIVE - SEPTEMBER 29, 7:30 pm
Presented as 48 Record Bar's first-ever offsite concert and a WRTI live event, the eponymous piano trio features Steve Okonski on keys, Michael Isvara Montgomery on upright bass, and Aaron Frazer on drums. The group will perform atmospheric, meditative jazz and selections from albums like Magnolia and Entrance Music.
How to Enter: Make a contribution to WRTI online here from Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 6:00 PM to Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 10:00 PM and you will automatically be entered into the Okonski Live contest. There will be (5) five winners, who will each receive: One pair (2 tickets) to see Okonski Live at the Philadelphia Ethical Society, September 29, 2026 at 7:30 PM (Doors/start around 7:00 PM).
