Vote for your top jazz albums in our Holiday Platters weekend

Happy turkey season! This Thanksgiving, the WRTI jazz team will once again present our annual Thanksgiving Holiday Platters Weekend. From 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25th through 12 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30th, we’ll feature a different classic jazz album every hour. From legendary records like John Coltrane’s 1958 release Blue Train and Ella Fitzgerald’s 1961 album Clap Hands, Here Comes Charlie! to recent touchstones like this year’s Blue Note debut by Linda Sikhakhane and 2023’s Brand New Life by Brandee Younger, our Holiday Platters Weekend is sure to have something for jazz fans of all eras and styles.

To help us fill out our list, we're asking you to submit your album suggestions! Fill-out the listener request form below before Wednesday, Nov. 18, and tune in Thanksgiving weekend to see if your album makes the cut. Celebrate family, friends and this amazing listening community with the Thanksgiving Holiday Platters Weekend on WRTI!
