Congratulations to John Modric of West Chester, PA, and Herbert Barndt of Pottstown, PA. They will join other organ enthusiasts on an exclusive tour of the Longwood, Wanamaker, and Kimmel Center organs. Although the contest is over, it's not too late to experience some world-class organ performances at Longwood.
Ten young organists from around the world have arrived at Longwood Gardens to compete in the inaugural Longwood Gardens International Organ Competition, a quest for the $40,000 Pierre S. du Pont First Prize. The competition will take place from June 18th to the 22nd and limited tickets are still available online or at 215-893-1999.
