Join us on Sunday, November 19th from 5 to 6 pm for our monthly broadcast of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. This month you'll hear two centuries of works, ranging from Haydn to Malcolm Arnold.
Music Director Dirk Brossé conducts the program, and trumpet soloist Tine Thing Helseth plays the familiar Haydn Trumpet Concerto, with a new twist! Composer Elliot Goldenthal has written a cadenza for the concerto that is premiered in this concert.
The rest of the program features the Mozart "Paris" symphony, and works by two 20th-century English composers. Listen at 90.1 in Philadelphia, streaming from our website at wrti.org, or from our fabulous and easy-to-use mobile App!
Program:
MOZART: Symphony No. 31 in D, “Paris”
