Watch and Listen: The Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble Live from the WRTI 90.1 Performance Studio

West Philadelphia native Warren Oree has a work ethic like that of the late James Brown, who held the title of “hardest working man in show business.” Along with leading the Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble, the bassist and educator is also runs Lifeline Music Coalition, along with partner Graziella DiNuzzo, which has produced some of Philadelphia’s most prominent jazz events.

This ensemble always aims to please, and features an eclectic array of jazz styles with influences from R&B, rock, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, and any other avenue that has inspired them.

The band is performing in support of the upcoming 6th Annual Philadelphia United Jazz Festival, which is happening on September 15th, on South Street near Broad from 2Pm until 10 PM. There will be a festival preview concert at the Woodmere Art Museum on September 4th, featuring pianist Eric Mintel.
