Internationally renowned Klezmer trombonist Dan Blacksberg and his All-Star Klezmer Ensemble were our guests for a lively celebration of the Jewish Festival of Lights! Dan was joined by trumpeter/vocalist Susan Watts, accordionist Christina Crowder, bassist Zoe Guigeno and host Debra Lew Harder.

This is a preview of their performance at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Friday night, December 7th starting at 5 PM that will also include drummer Richie Barshie, with support from Temple University's Feinstein Center for American Jewish History.
The group will play a joyous holiday program of music drawn from Klezmer works by Dave Tarras, Naftule Brandwein, and Moyshe Oysher. It's called "freilachs" music. Learn more about it during the broadcast!
