Without question, 2023 gave us some great music. From new releases and debuts to limited reissues and archival finds, there was something special for almost anyone.
You'll find a handful of jazz artists on NPR Music's Best Albums and Best Songs lists of 2023. But we wanted to be sure to give the music a fuller spotlight. Next week we'll share Nate Chinen's Top 10 Jazz Albums, and a special episode of The Late Set, featuring his conversation with Greg Bryant about the music they loved this year.
