Jim Cotter speaks with The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia's executive director Peter Gistelinck, who has just renewed his contract for five years. The Orchestra begins its season in the fall with a new music director, Dirk Brosse.

Susan Lewis considers the beginnings, evolution, and contemporary mission of the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. Founded in 1824, the Society is now celebrating the centennial of its landmark building at 13th and Locust streets in Philadelphia.
