The Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA)
VARIOUS SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS
The Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia is one of the world's premier institutions for training young artists as international opera soloists. Through rigorous instruction and coaching, and by presentations of Resident Artists from around the world in concerts, oratorios, public programs, and fully staged professional opera productions, AVA trains artists with high potential for career success. Many alums have gone on to high-profile careers, singing with leading opera companies including The Metropolitan Opera. Listen to live, recorded concerts of AVA Resident Artists throughout the year on WRTI.
