Temple University Jazz Band

Billy Childs wrote his new piece 'Labyrinth,' as a musical puzzle for the Temple University Studio Orchestra to solve. A member of the saxophone section offers this inside view on the piece, which will also be on the program in a concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center this Sunday.

On the whole and in constituent parts, the Temple University Jazz Band distinguished itself in the third invitational competition at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
