Craft Works Music

The choral ensemble Craft Works Music visited WRTI 90.1 on Wednesday, May 22nd at 12:10 PM to sing highlights from upcoming concerts based on Walt Whitman's poetry, in honor of his 200th birthday. They also talked with WRTI's Susan Lewis about Whitman's legacy.
 

Celebrate the season with us as Craft Works Music visits the WRTI Performance Studio to sing madrigals and other works inspired by springtime. WRTI's Susan Lewis is host. 

The African-American patriot Richard Allen founded the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 1794, and led the congregation of Bethel AME in Philadelphia in a former blacksmith shop on 6th Street near Lombard. A Craft Works ensemble visits WRTI's Performance Studio on Feb. 8 at 12:10 PM to sing music from Bishop Allen's hymnal. WRTI's Susan Lewis is host.
