The Sittin’ In series at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts has been introducing audiences to cutting-edge artists for 7 years. Anthony Tidd, the curator of the series, joined host J. Michael Harrison in the WRTI Performance Studio on January 29th for a session with some of the biggest names Sittin’ In has presented in advance of the Live Birthday Bash Jam on Feb. 6th at the Kimmel Center.

Sittin’ In has always been known to present all genres of music in a relaxed setting, and with this band, the live performance should be full of surprises.
This performance is a preview of the Sittin’ In Live Birthday Bash Jamat the Kimmel Center on February 6th, starting at 8 PM. The above musicians will be joined by Sarah Vaugh Vocal Competition winner Laurin Talese, master trombonist Ernest Stuart, and many others.
