Episode 7:

Not only can classical music express and support us through the full range of experience and emotion, but it can even accompany us on our journey through life and all of its stages.

Many great works are sonic time capsules, reflecting the ages and milestones that we look forward to and reflect back on. From the wonder and simplicity of childhood, to the longing and revelry of adolescence, to the sense of meaning and purpose of adulthood, and the confrontation with mortality that happens for us all, this program takes us through all the stages of life in just an hour.
