The Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters presented WRTI with two awards on May 5th at their annual luncheon. Senior Arts and Culture Producer Susan Lewis, and Station Manager Bill Johnson, accepted the awards on behalf of the station at the Hershey Hotel.
Susan Lewis, Jim Cotter, and Eric Brannon were honored in the Outstanding Radio Feature Story/Report/Series category for the Creatively Speaking series, "A Tribute to Wolfgang Sawallisch (1923—2013)." Features included: "Musicians' Memories of Wolfgang Sawallisch on the Podium," and "Celebrating the Legacy of Sawallisch on Tour and at Home."
Meridee Duddleston, Susan Lewis, Jim Cotter, David Patrick Stearns, and Eric Brannon were honored in the Judges' Merit - Radio category for the Creatively Speaking series, "Where Music Lives."
