In the past few years, Lucian Ban and Mat Maneri have contributed their musical lens to reimagining works from composer Béla Bartók's collection of folk music. This weekend, they will perform their adaptations in Philadelphia, in a concert presented by Fire Museum.

Join us on Sunday, Aug. 17 at 1 p.m. on WRTI 90.1 and Monday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. on WRTI HD-2 as The Philadelphia Orchestra in Concert brings you Saint-Saёns' "Organ" Symphony, Bartók's Suite from The Miraculous Mandarin, and Bohuslav Martinů's Rhapsody-Concerto, featuring principal viola Choong-Jin Chang.

In its coming season, The Philadelphia Orchestra will highlight milestones in its own 125-year history — while also premiering vibrant new works, and featuring prominent soloists and guest conductors.

On Sunday, Jan. 5 at 1 p.m. on WRTI 90.1 and Monday, Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. on WRTI HD-2, The Philadelphia Orchestra in Concert brings you Leif Ove Andsnes in Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto, and Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra. Dalia Stasevska is on the podium.
